As a club member you are able to take advantage of a range of resources the Club offers, and have an opportunity to meet other locals and participate in our regular social events.
Members can enjoy the beautiful 180° views of the Waitemata Harbour from the Deck in a relaxing environment while enjoying very reasonable bar prices; and as a family based organisation we have facilities for the kids which include a monitored kids zone with computers, games and other distractions, or they can make use of the range of small water craft we have available while parents can keep an eye on things from the Deck. The club is beach side for swimming and there is a new playground facility neighbouring the club house.
Members can also hire the Club for private functions such as birthdays, or other social occasions, and the beautiful coastal location provides a perfect venue for Weddings. There are some conditions attached to hireage which are detailed in the Venue Hire application form on the Venue Hire page. The bar is staffed on a roster system among our members, so members are required to be available for a shift or two throughout the year, but this is a great way to familiarise yourself with the Club and to meet other members; and we provide training for those new to the experience.
The Club welcomes new members so if you are interested in joining feel free to stop by to check out our facilities and have a drink on the Deck. We are self-funding so there is a modest 0ne off $50 application fee, and a $55 for an individual annual subscription thereafter, or $80 for a Family membership, which goes towards funding the Club and the various activities we provide.
