The Waitemata proves a great fishing opportunity, and there are a lot of keen fishermen among our members.
We participate in the Cobbald Shield which is a year-round event that is run among other Clubs like ours, and has categories for most species; although we also run an in in-house leader board throughout the year so why not try to get your name up there for local bragging rights as well as helping the Club ranking!
The annual Ladies fishing competition is another popular event on the Calendar and is well supported by Community sponsors and prizes. This is always well attended and provides a great opportunity for pre and post celebrations! Next event is in planning for the coming Spring – October or November. More details to follow..
